My magazine

My magazine is going to be aimed at both genders; it is going to mainly be based around R&B but will also include other music genres. R&B has a mixture of different artists that will appeal to both male and females and this will help to open it up to both genders. The age range I am aiming my magazine at is 16-28, this will attract a wider audience because it is quite a wide range. Today’s music is mainly R&B, the UK top 40 reflects this, and this shows what young people of today listen to.

In my magazine I am going to include a range of articles including interviews and artist’s fashion.  My main article is going to be an interview about an artist’s choice of fashion and how they became famous. This will appeal to my target audience as this is what they asked for in my target market survey.

Another way to attract my target market is to make my front page as striking and appealing as I possibly can. I will do this by using bold headings (in the font chosen previously) and in the colour scheme also chosen before. I will keep a consistent colour scheme running through my magazine.  I intend to make my magazine looks as professional as I can.
